Job Description, Responsibilities, and Duties:
The Customer Quality Engineer independently solves the quality requirements of customers, complaints from the customer. He is the customer's representative in solving internal quality issues. It cooperates with departments throughout the company and its subsidiary production plants.   

Customer Quality Engineer Main Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities:

  • Solve and document customer complaints
  • Actively communicate with the customer in case of complaints, problems, and other quality requirements, as well as with the sales department and application engineers in resolving complaints    
  • Monitor the development of quality on the market and to entrusted customers
  • Offer suggestions for design modifications based on identified shortcomings
  • Manage projects improving products and processes in the company
  • Monitor quality indicators that are key to evaluating customer quality performance
  • Participate in designing control plans and procedures for developing new products
  • Conduct internal audits 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Results of customer audits
  • PPM customer line/market
  • Reduction of the number of complaints
  • Short response times to complaints
  • Reduction of costs for complaints (warrants)
  • Overall customer satisfaction (no escalations) 


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer quality assurance in an industrial company                   

Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical degree (mechanical or electrical engineering)          
  • Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC, ...)                       
  • Excellent management skills                       
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills                        
  • 6sigma, min. Green Belt                       
  • MS office                       
  • Orientation in standards ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001                       
  • Strong analytical skills and pragmatic thinking approach            
  • Knowledge of technical products and processes            
  • Team player            
  • Excellent communications skills            
  • Ability to work independently, perseverance
