Austria For our research center in Austria we are looking for a – 28.04.2023 Mechanism Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks:

• Plan and execute the mechanism activities inside the product development projects
• Design and/or redesign products aiming to minimize mechanism bearings friction losses
• Design and/or redesign products aiming to ensure mechanism bearings reliability
• Dynamic simulation of compressor mechanism, EHD bearings, EHL
• Perform flexible multi-body dynamics and bearing simulation with AVL Excite software
• Create procedures for the component/compressor design simulations
• Define the CTQ List for the components related to Mechanism
• Release the drawings of components related to Mechanism
• Coordinate with internal/external suppliers to get prototypes
• Coordinate the assembly of product samples in Lab
• Define and coordinate special/instrumented tests during development in our labs
• Advanced research and engineering of mechanical relevant compressor components

Your Qualification & Profile:

• Min 3 years in similar role
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Experience with ANSYS Mechanical
• Experience with AVL Excite for EHD bearings simulation, EHL, tribology
• Knowledge of CAD system for model preparation/cleaning (Preferably PTC Creo/ProE), Windchill, SAP
• Highly engaged and structured, strong drive for ownership and result oriented
• Intercultural skills, fluent English and willingness to travel are mandatory for us as an international group
