The purpose of the Project Manager Job is to deliver company projects efficiently, on time and within the budget according to company Quality standards. Co-ordinate cross-departmental activities and leading cross functional teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in project planning sessions
  • Define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Plan and ensure resource availability and allocation, coordinate resources for the flawless execution
  • Manage project progress and changes, adapt work as required
  • Ensure that projects meet deadlines within scope and budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Design and sign off on contracts, oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Design risk mitigation plan
  • Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff, escalate to management as needed
  • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects
  • Manage large and diverse teams

Key indicators:

  • Documented reduction of line & market reject figures at selected customers to level: Quality KPI as defined per strategic mid-term and annual business plans i.e., but not limited: Line rejects, Field rejects, Warranty cost, etc. …

Required experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, or similar post

Education, knowledge and experience:

  • University education, engineering or business administration
  • General economic overview and basic economic knowledge
  • Active knowledge of English language as mandatory and German language desired
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Power Point, SAP and Creo programs at an advanced level
  • Knowledge of the principles of project management
  • Skilled in MS Proj (or similar planning tools), Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Experience with ISO systems
