Main Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers, prices budget, deliveries in line with Secop policies and plans
  • Take responsibility for purchasing contracts, orders according to material demands, managing orders, monitoring prices, and following claims
  • Take responsibility for supplier contracts and relationships
  • Participate in negotiations
  • Prepare plans and budgets in line with global procurement plans
  • Source new suppliers and building up continues improvement, striving for continuous costs reductions.
  • Find alternative solutions

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar job within procurement
  • General professional experience of at least 5 years
  • Experience in purchasing processes and costs management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in technology or economics
  • Relevant technical knowledge in respective material portfolio
  • General business sense and basic business acumen
  • Knowledge of business contractual legislation and policies
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of MS Office, SAP
  • Driver’s license
  • Experience in automotive and mass production
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Great understanding of customers’ needs
  • Proactive approach
