Refrigeration in the food services and retail sector faces various challenges dependent upon the final application. The cooling capacity, as well as the evaporation temperatures, vary depending on the application. To provide reliable and efficient solutions for these challenges, Secop offers an equivalent range of compressors with a cooling capacity from 50 W (approx. 170 Btu/h) up to 3 kW (approx.10,236 Btu/h) and evaporation temperature from -35°C (-31°C) and 0°C (32°F). Particularly, in the commercial cooling sector, reliable and constant refrigeration is essential to ensure the quality of goods and compliance with respective food safety regulations. In the past, these factors were associated with very high energy costs and a significant impact on the environment due to the use of synthetic refrigerants with extremely high global warming potentials (GWP).

Secop’s product range for commercial refrigeration offers sustainable solutions with R290 (propane) and R600a (isobutane) which have a GWP of 3 compared to 1,430 and 3,920 of R134a and R404A respectively. The D-, N-,  and S-Series are also available with Secop’s variable Cool Capacity Drive (°CCD) to adapt to the actual cooling demand.
