Minibars are small built-in refrigerators, which are mostly used in hotels and are installed in all guest rooms. The combined power consumption of all minibars in a hotel complex is a significant operating expense. Energy efficiency and size are key factors to improve the current applications and reduce operating costs.

Our P-Series compressors combine performance and compactness to meet the demands of smaller under-counter or cabinet applications. For larger appliances, Secop also offers the D-Series which are highly optimized towards energy efficiency. All compressors on offer work with the environmentally friendly hydrocarbon R600a (isobutane) with a very low GWP of 3. In addition, Secop compressors are designed to work at a very low noise level to to further increase the comfort level in hotel rooms.
