On September 16, 2026, Secop held its 2026 Supplier Day at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Tianjin, China. Secop's management and its suppliers met to strengthen their relationships, align on strategic objectives and optimize the key elements of their business together.
For Secop, long-term supplier partnerships are a strategic asset. In evolving markets, Secop and its partners share one goal: a value chain that is more efficient, flexible and resilient.
The presence of Board Members Jan Ehlers, Johannes Maerz and Norbert Brath underlined the weight Secop gives to its supplier network. The speeches covered Secop's development, its markets, its strategic objectives and what customers expect in terms of competitiveness, flexibility and delivery. Secop also shared its product roadmap, its quality requirements and the priorities of Operations, Supply Chain and Purchasing.
Suppliers had prepared for the event in several rounds with Secop, focused on optimizing processes, components and delivery performance. Each brought one part they supply along with proposals for improvement. Four working groups discussed the ideas and shared the results with all participants, laying the basis for joint evaluation.
Secop presented its Supplier Awards in the categories of delivery, quality, improvement and partnership, congratulating all winners and thanking every supplier for their contribution in a demanding year.
The day closed with a dinner with Secop's partners, and the celebration continued late into the night, strengthening the personal relationships that make collaboration work.
Secop thanks all participating suppliers, speakers and organizers, and looks forward to continuing the work together with its partners.
