Secop Analysis Laboratory Turkey

We are proud to inform you that the relocation of Secop’s testing and return analysis laboratory in Turkey (TRS HUB) has opened at their new address. The opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. The laboratory will serve the Middle East region.

To maintain the high service level and meet the increasing demand of our customers, the laboratory and offices moved to 175 square meters in the new industrial park in Çorlu which is located 120 km from Istanbul Airport.

Secop BD Micro Compressor

New BD Micro Generations for R134a and R1234yf

Secop introduces improved versions of BD Micro compressors for 12V DC and 12/24V DC applications. The compressors will also be released for R1234yf and have a further optimized noise level. R1234yf, the low GWP and standard refrigerant for car air conditioning systems, has now also been approved for compressors installed in e.g. car minibars or truck refrigerators.

Secop CapSel App – Capillary Tube Selection

Secop's Capillary Tube Selection Software CapSel – which allows the user to calculate the measurements of a capillary tube throttling device for a refrigeration system using empirical formulas – is now available as an App for devices running on Apple's iOS or Google's Android operating systems.
The CapSel program will showing improved calculation results compared to the old DanCap program.

The App is available in English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Turkish.

Release of Alternative Refrigerants for Secop Compressor Types

Most Secop R134a compressors can be released for operation with R513A, and most R404A models can be used with R452A.
Intensive verification work with existing compressor types and new refrigerant compositions showed that many compressors can also be released for use with these alternative refrigerants.

The first data sheets which show differences in performance of both refrigerants are available for download from our Product Selector.
