Zlaté Moravce, May 21, 2025 – Secop Slovakia proudly shares the milestones and future outlook of its long-standing commitment to the dual education program in Slovakia. Since 2014, the company has played an active role in training skilled professionals through a successful partnership with local vocational institutions.
Since 2014, Secop Slovakia has been actively involved in the dual education system, training 71 students. These figures reflect Secop’s sustained commitment to vocational education and the strength of its partnerships with academic institutions.
Secop maintains a strong and ongoing partnership with the Secondary Technical School in Zlaté Moravce. This collaboration extends beyond daily vocational training and includes several joint initiatives. Among the most prominent is the Young Stars project, supported by Secop since its pilot phase in 2014. This initiative served as the foundation for Secop’s active participation in the official Dual Education Program.
The dual education model offers substantial benefits to Secop by enabling the development of a highly qualified workforce aligned with the company's specific operational and technological needs. Currently, 25 students are participating in the training program, with 6 additional students expected to begin their studies in the field of mechatronic technician in the upcoming academic year.
The role of mechatronic technician remains one of the most in-demand professions in the technical field, offering strong employment prospects. The dual education approach—combining practical experience in a real work environment with academic instruction—ensures that graduates are well-prepared to enter the labour market, both within Secop and across the wider industrial sector.
