Secop exhibits at Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg, 13 to 15 October, Hall 4, Booth 129. The booth is organized into five areas: Food Service, Food Retail, Special Applications, Medical Cold Chain and Mobile Cooling.
This update covers the Food Service area, the fifth stop of the booth tour.
Food Service covers a wide set of applications that differ by type of business. The goal is always the same: keeping the final product in perfect condition so the food and drinks reach the customer at their best. In a restaurant, hotel kitchen, bar, catering operation, butcher shop, or delicatessen, the refrigeration never stops and the stress on the system is high. It runs day and night through constant door openings and fast pull-down, which put energy efficiency, reliability, and stable temperature control at the center of every equipment decision. At the same time, the revised EU F-Gas Regulation is steering the segment toward natural refrigerants, pushing OEMs to bring new products in line with the legislation.
Secop addresses the needs of food service applications with a compressor range optimized entirely on R290 green refrigerants, for professional kitchens, preparation tables, showcases, bottle coolers, vending machines, and ice makers.
The KL-Series, built on the K-Series architecture with more than 50 million units installed worldwide, combines a noise-reducing shell, a reinforced suspension, and a patented hermetic terminal plug for safe operation with a flammable refrigerant in a compact space. On the counter, visitors can see two new models in preview. With a height of just 159 mm, the new KLF3.0CNT model is one of the most compact units soon available. It operates at both 50 and 60 Hz and covers applications with medium and low back pressure (MBP and LBP) in a single series — a universal solution for bottle coolers and small display cases. At the top of the range, KLF9.6CND brings almost 900 W cooling capacity (ASHRAE MBP), for kitchens that need more capacity without much more footprint.
For stainless steel refrigerators, preparation tables, and professional freezers, the NLE Plus adds larger cooling capacity and connectivity features to the NL range. At Chillventa Secop presents the NLE15LNDX. NLE Plus offers optimized start equipment and stands up to extreme liquid refrigerant returns. The starting accessories include a highly integrated relay together with starting and running capacitors, compact and easy to install, with integrated PTC and NTC to cut peak currents and voltage spikes, which improves safety and service life.
Where an OEM needs more power, the SCE range steps in, and at Chillventa Secop presents two new models: the well-known 21 cm³ displacement covered by the SCE21LNDX and the new SCE Plus at up to 25 cm³. Designed to match the needs of professional kitchen refrigerators, walk-in freezers, monoblocks, and sealed systems, the SCE Plus compressors perform across a wide range of operating conditions. SCE25MNDX, on the counter, delivers up to 2,100 W cooling capacity (ASHRAE MBP) at a COP of 2.01.
This is the last stop of the booth tour. The full range, from Mobile Cooling to Food Service, is on display at Chillventa 2026 in Nuremberg, October 13 to 15, Hall 4, Booth 129.
