Michael Engelen, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 1 July 2022, has decided to step down from his role for personal reasons, and will leave the Company with effect as of 1 March 2026.
The Shareholder Board has accepted his resignation with great respect. Under Michael Engelen’s leadership, the finance organization has been strengthened significantly, and important foundations have been laid to support Secop’s continued growth and long-term success. Secop and the Shareholder Board regret Michael Engelen’s decision and would like to thank him for his strong commitment and contribution, and wish him all the best for his personal and professional future.
To ensure a smooth transition, the responsibilities of the finance function will be assumed on an interim basis by Dr. Jan Ehlers, Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The process to appoint a successor has already been initiated.
